Deep Space Habitat Simulator

January 2026 – October 2026
European Space Agency (ESA) project

The Deep Space Habitat Simulator (DSHS) proposes a multi-iteration approach to maintain agility and ensure continuous improvement in European habitat design and operations.

A comprehensive system view and robust data management will laverage existing platforms and simulators while integrating future capabilities. It will take into account novel Conops, closed loop LSS, AI in extending autonomy and robustness of system, but will also have a special focus on physical and mental health of the crew and the performance of the crew.
