Space architects on the design of spaces without gravity

Der Standard podcast [in German]

Who hasn’t dreamed of what it would be like to live on another planet? Waking up on the moon in the morning and looking down on Earth? Or searching for life on a permanent base on Mars? Space architect Waltraut Hoheneder and space architect René Waclavicek have very specific thoughts about a home in space. In their office for space architecture Liquifer in Vienna, they design space stations and bases for life in space or on other planets. They are not only intended to be distant visions of the future, but also to solve urgent problems in the world. In the latest episode of Edition Zukunft, Hoheneder and Waclavicek talk about their work. (Jakob Pallinger, 2.8.2024)
